Don’t tell anyone, please, but Breezy Point has the most beautiful beach in New York City. As you gaze upon the waters, the most gorgeous of hue of aquamarine, it’s almost baffling. So clear and clean. And don’t let the gate fool you, the insular community contains another part of Gateway Recreation Area: The Breezy Point Tip. And because of its remoteness… there are gorgeous shells no one is picking up.
It was a heavenly empty beach, save for some local fishermen.
And just look at this spread! Beats the more populated and now second place shelling hot spot, the Sandy Hook Unit of Gateway Recreation Area.
