{Sandwich Wars} Point: Urban Rustic

Delivery options are the cornerstone of any city’s offerings. And with the ease of online ordering, a busy gal with an empty fridge can satisfy a whim almost too easily. In my locale of Williamsburg, Brooklyn, there are many cuisines to chose from. But what I need most is a hearty and reliable ‘go-to’ for sandwiches. Bless my lucky stars that Urban Rustic not only has a couple of delicious and substantial vegan options but also delivers fresh pressed juices. The Unclub, above, does not skimp. Soft, fresh bread, layers of unturkey, tempeh bacon, tomato and sprouts. Besides this glorious combination of innards, they know how to dress a sandwich with ample Vegenaise and a Dijon that kicks my ass just as much as the shot of ginger in my Saint Regis juice. Wrapped in paper and delivered with a snarl from a hipster on a bike. I heart Brooklyn.
