Pastosa Vegan Ravioli
December 10, 2019

Just a quick word in between busy, busy times. Because Pastosa‘s fresh-made vegan cheese ravioli were so darn good. I ate a serving without any sauce and they were the best vegan ravioli I’ve ever had! The secret: Koji culture, a fermented addition to the tofu base that imparts the almighty umami flavor. You’ll usually find koji in traditional Japanese food. But this koji, fugetaboutit!

Thankfully there are Pastosa‘s in Brooklyn, Long Island, Staten Island and New Jersey. Because now I am going to crave them! I hope that you will buy them too. Far better than anything in Whole Foods.
