Parks & Rec: Brooklyn
Owl’s Head Park

Owl’s Neck Park has some great looking trees. And when you’re cooped up inside and feeling humdrum, it’s nice to be able to appreciate a tree–a tall and mighty tree that reaches continuously. It grows not by discernible leaps but gradually everyday, stretching to both to the sky and in the ground. I think I needed this tree.

Me and the tree

I think I needed this sun too. And my Jack Purcells again, sitting for the show. And the bike ride.

But summer’s fantastic sunsets are not here yet. This sun escaped behind Bayonne, New Jersey without casting much color.

Pedaling down to the ferry pier, the fuzziness muted all contrast. I had to force it in my computer.

One last goodbye for today

Is this getting harder for you? It is for me. Gotsta run away soon.
