North Point State Park Ruins, Former Site Bay Shore Park

Like an obedient consumer, I love a good 2-for. Cheap price for two things I don’t need, yes! But in adventuring, a good 2-for is even more exciting. So when there are ruins of an old amusement park in a gorgeous scenic park in the peak of the foliage season, yes please. To follow are, first, the ruins–the main draw being this old power station and shop for Bay Shore Park’s fleet of trolleys. It was easily accessible and desolate when I arrived, though I did see and hear others on the park’s trails.

A cool stop, but not much more than this structure, save for some pieces of foundation here and there. Stay tuned for the foliage post.
