It was time for the annual Renaissance Faire in Tuxedo, New York. This tradition bookends a season of mermaiding that starts with the preparations for Coney Island’s Mermaid Parade in the Spring. This season has been tremendously busy. But I am happy to report that I have all kinds of mermaid craft plans gathering momentum as I am now unemployed. But for now, let us see the sights of this tradition, starting with the hotel room.
