More Vegan Food at the
New York Renaissance Faire

Plus My Fairy Costume!
October 9, 2022

It was that time of the year again, time to find our way to the New York Renaissance Faire for festive merry-making. This year, a first: I would be a fairy, complete with a crafted headdress, top and bottom. A mess of nature and iridescence, the trunk was an explosion of crafty delights as we headed over to our accommodations for the night in Mahwah, New Jersey.

Time to get dressed

A bit chilly for such an outfit, but Iβd have to just deal with it.

The filter seemed fitting

This is why I like hanging out with Moms⦠the snacks.

It was backed up to get in, but we would enjoy the basking in the foliage.

Love the beautiful rooftops. This medieval village is a permanent display used annually. And it makes all the difference.

More gorgeousness

Now some vegan options I hadnβt tried before. The pretzelβwith dijonβdoes the trick for a quick snack.

I did not try their smoothies.

Looking forward to their Fruit Ice⦠it is served in a fruit carcass.

This is the pineapple Fruit Ice. Really delicious!

Thereβs nutsβ¦ if you so desire. And they are vegan.

Now the Hummus Platter from the Peacock Pavilion.

It was not the best value for $15. And not served on a bed of kale as advertised.

The vegan mousse at the Bakery. I didnβt buy one this time. Wish they had another sweet vegan option.
