So what if it’s snowing! If I am going to go back to Brooklyn from New Jersey by way of the Verrazzano Bridge, I’m going to get my money’s worth. 💸 Montclair Vegan has been on my radar for quite some time, and it’d be a pretty easy stop for dinner before I return to my empty fridge. Wait, did I mention loaded tater tots yet? Loaded tater tots!
Besides those tots covered with Teese cheese sauce, sour cream, jalapeño and scallion, I got a perfectly fried empanada filled with vegan throwback TVP. As in, texturized vegetable protein. That takes me back to the 90’s.
Really good bites here at Montclair Vegan. Thanks Jersey. Now I’m going home for reals!
