One thing I like about the onset of Fall is I can tolerate a day of errands in Manhattan. Manhattan that is so steamy and unbearable in the summer. For fuel first, Michaeli Bakery on the Lower East Side. The namesake is for pastry chef Adir Michaeli, former head of pastry at Lehamim Bakery, a famous bakery in Tel Aviv, Israel.
