May the Fourth Be With You

I always celebrate Star Wars Day, May the 4th, in my classroom. Since my classroom is locked up, we would have to celebrate it remotely! So I laid out my garb–my Leia hoody and the pillow case skirt I made in the 90’s when the original trilogy was released in theaters.

But who would nerd out with me? I will tempt them with a free assignment voucher.

Live Star Wars celebration commencing… 3 students dressed up. Better than none!

But I made all my students do a related classification activity. Since I am a Star Wars purist, a nod to the original gang.

Making cookies on my “lunch break.” I had this dough in the freezer from when I made my Scooter Pies. These are the best cookie cutters.

Happy May the Fourth!

I know what I’ll be watching tonight!
