What’s better than an old fashioned diner that is actually an expat from New Jersey? Well, an old fashioned diner that is actually an expat from New Jersey with a ton of vegan options–that’s what! Though Sunday is a very busy day for any diner, it would be very busy for Mattie’s Diner, a beloved neighborhood staple. So I sat at the counter to watch the show… and then feasted on a vegan omelet.

I just happened to get a Buffalo, New York mug!

Sure, dish overall was way too wet and prices were a bit high… but I love the opportunity to participate in a neighborhood staple like this.

With plenty to return for, I would definitely stop back in when nearby Charlotte again.
