Little Mount Rushmore
Mesquite, Nevada

Pete Karns is an Olympian athlete and resident of Mesquite, Nevada. He has created a miniature replica of South Dakota’s Mount Rushmore in the sandstone lining Lower Flat Top Drive in town. Staying just a few miles away, I of course had to check it out.

He has made over 17 sculptures into the surrounding sandstone, so be sure to check out some of his other works.
