What happens when Matthew Kenney gets his mitts on a French patisserie Beverly Hills? The whole darn thing goes vegan. And other locations get stocked with vegan options!
Established in 1862, Ladurée is France’s most prestigious pastry shop. I picked up some of their macarons for loved ones in their signature macaron-hued boxes when I visited Paris in 2017. I would never imagine that my follow-up purchase would be vegan… and that’d I’d have an entire menu of traditional French pastries to choose from.
We stopped in to bask in the wonder and disbelief. Everything is vegan?!
