Koolwink Motel…. Retro Motel in West Virginia

If you ever find yourself traveling through West Virginia and need a quick respite from the road, Koolwink Motel is a darling motel in Romney with decor to die for. This mid century modern gem within the valley was likely the cleanest motel I’d ever been in, for one, but the real draw… authentic vintage stylings.

Though beautiful, don’t expect much by way of vegan options in the area. Without a meal the whole day, I opted for a Veggie Delight from Subway–which I hadn’t had in probably decades. Online ordering makes it real easy to build a vegan sandwich without the usual confusion.
