James River State Park 🌠

My trip to Virginia’s dark sky parks was a good effort, but cloud cover was a big issue. In the brief sliver of time when the clouds opened up at James River State Park, I did mange some shots. Then the rain came again, bringing me back to my tent rather quickly.
I found my spot!
And there that Milky Way is…
Mostly covered unfortunately, but still some pretty pictures
And that’s the best of it! A thick cloud cover was supposed hang around the rest of the evening.

I stuck around and I played with light painting for a bit!
Goodbye Virginia. I’ll have to return when the sky clears up.
