Hot in the Vegan Citi Tonight

It’s been a long time since I have been at a baseball game at Citi Field! Though rainy, it was great to be part of the energy of the ballpark… and especially with old friends. First a glimpse of the new Tom Seaver monument. It’s impressive.

Now time to find some food. Fruit is always a happy site.

Love the vegan markings about the stadium. The World’s Fare Market is still the location to find the most varied vegan options.

Because right outside of it is Vegan City, the all-vegan stand.

Here you will find vegan nachos with jackfruit, a couple of burgers, a tremendous sausage and peppers hoagie, as well as a grain salad.

The nachos… I added some onion and jalapeño from the free fixin’s bar.

The sausage & peppers. I highly recommend it. Though it is Beyond, it seems justified at the stadium if perhaps nowhere else.

The rain had me pop a squat and feast on the concrete.
