Working in a school on Halloween is a lot of fun. And there is an excuse to go hard with dressing up… as if I needed that. In honor of the undead and vegan candy treats, some halloween images in a very festive week:
My students loved these Zombie Skittles… where some tasted horribly, creating a line-up at the trash can. Officially, the gross flavors are named Mummified Melon, Boogeyman Blackberry, Chilling Black Cherry, and Blood Red Berry, though the kids described them as tasting like dirt, onion and dog food.
Getting ready in the morning is tough. Here I gather strength.
Before I hit the wind and rain in the dark Halloween morning… which would dishevel me appropriately.
Since I’d be out all day, I left out my candy… with a warning. As I type this, it is still outside and barely touched.
