A very special birthday means a very special cake I was tasked to do… my Mother is turning 80.
I busted out the silicone numbers for the cake

All done! I am pleased with how it turned out.
I actually bought a cake sheet and box from the baking supply store. And thankfully it traveled well.
And since I have number cookie cutters, it was another treat!
After messing up the Valentine cookie icing, I wanted to try a new method.
This gives me Eddie Van Halen vibes

They came out pretty darn cool! Next time I will watch those air bubbles and pop ’em early.

The car was packed! I had to drive very carefully because I couldn’t see my passenger side mirror.
