Get Baked By Melissa
October 4, 2019

It’s about time Baked By Melissa, home of the two bite tie-dyed cupcake, expanded its line to include vegan flavors. And since I had never had cause to eat their stuff until now, I wasn’t sure how many of them little things would be appropriate for my appetite. I opted for the six-pack, because: Black Flag.

The pre-packaged, shrink-wrapped and refrigerated six-pack from their outpost in SoHo included one of the 6 vegan flavors: Strawberry, Superfood (a Chia Spirulina cupcake with a beet icing), Triple Chocolate Chip, Cookie Dough, Peanut Butter and Chocolate Vanilla Chip.

I ate them all, one after another. Each was enjoyable, though such short-lived bliss. True to green, I enjoyed the superfood one the most for its more unique flavor pairing!

Always welcoming to a omni-bakery’s vegan option, I love how ubiquitous vegan options have become… mostly.
