Dog Day Afternoon 🌭

Hot Dog! (Did you know that people used to exclaim this in certain situations of excitement? I only know this because I used to read Archie comics when I was a kid.) Sometimes I get a craving for a vegan hot dog with a ton of stuff on it. Because of all the garnishes I crave, I have no issue with buying a packaged dog as it serves as a vehicle to the more important parts: colorful, crunchy, briney toppings. Dog Day Afternoon in Park Slope exceeds my craving requirements because they’ve got great service, a bare bones unpretentious menu, it’s an easy walk from my job… and the vegan Chicago hot dog in a soft bun is perfection.

Feast for the eyes first…
