DC Miscellaneous Photo Drop

I finally got to The Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History. Being from New York and dropping in on NYC’s American Museum of Natural History since childhood, this museum has been on the backburner. With time to kill on short call reserve, I finally went. I was impressed, as were the rest of the tourists.

Ancestors…

Sharing food, all upright and with thumbs

Cool exhibit about the Night Sky

Gem Hall

Admirers of the Hope Diamond

All kinds of animals

DC home breakfast… I’m a huge fig lover

I was eating spoonfuls of this. It tasted just like my nostalgic fave Fluff.

I heart you too, blackberry.

Jazz in the park, wine, and my roomie (not pictured)

Been cutting my own hair and sometimes it gets weird

The General Tso’s Chicken Bowl from Pow Pow is so damn good. I don’t even mind that it is soy science meat.

I like my espresso two ways… the Cortado (left) and the Cappuccino (right). These are from Compass.

Walking about I find some cool neon.

In Silver Springs, MD… which is like 5 minutes away walking

Walking blind

I was on my way to get a smoothie bowl but I stopped at Sweetgreen instead. Delish!

Some mango and pandan-colored sticky rice. Perfection and one of my most favorite deserts
