Craters Of The Moon National Monument & Preserve In Idaho {Nighttime}

Running back out to Craters of the Moon National Monument & Preserve when it was dark enough gave us a sliver of time before the clouds rolled in to capture the vivid stars. And a sliver is all we had left having taken two flights and driving several hours after waking up at the crack of dawn in DC. But sometimes that is all you need… the delicious stars shined and a grasped them with my camera in the area called “The Devil’s Orchard.”

Parking lot shot!

Playing with light now

Tripod in the shot is one of my signature moves LOL

It was a stunning night but a good night’s sleep called us loudly. Till next time, Crater Face
