Checking In On Cherry Springs State Park

It’s been several years since I visited the first place I ever shot the stars. Though that evening was clear, too many times my plans were thwarted by the mountain’s tempestuous clouds. But we would give it a shot anyway, staying in town to allow for an easy check on the stars. First a stop at the park during the day…

While we burn daylight: Dinner… at the only place with decent vegan options, China House. This was really darn good Chinese food. Mine was the General Tso’s Tofu with veggie fried rice.

Flash forward to the evening, mostly cloudy. Argh!

That’s as good as it’s going to get! Time to head back to bed.
