Blessed Are The Sandwich Makers

After some heavy lifting with a slight hangover, a sandwich excursion to the Lower East Side. 

She got The Bowery, turmeric tofu egg, tempeh bacon, and Violife provolone slice on a roll with mayo.

I got the Hanukkah special, available only during these days and nights of light.  Housemade gluten-free latkes as the sammy bread (heavenly! But a bit thick), Just For All egg, Chao cheese, sour cream, scallion and dill.

So delicious.  The wrapping of parchment isn’t the best choice since it everything stuck to it oddly. I swear I cleaned the sheet with my mouth; it was that good.

Whole lotta latke

Since we were in the hood, several sweet bites at Rawesome Treats.  Black sesame, pumpkin and banana cream pie.  So flavorful!
