Avocado Toasts on the North Shore

Cat sitting this guy, I was relaxing on Long Island’s North Shore. So I started each morning with a bite and coffee from the area’s high quality coffee shops…

This guy made sure I was up early.

A latte from Southdown Coffee in Glen Cove… just perfection.

$14 for one piece of avocado toast is pretty darn steep. But this was so damn good… a toasted sourdough slice with mashed avocado, sprouts, sunflower seeds, roasted tomato, sea salt and lime juice. It hits all the notes. And their roasted tomato… the best.

Now at Karmic Grind in Locust Valley. Their avocado toast is not as spectacular but still good.

First we eat, then we do everything else.
