Autumn’s Last Licks
December 10, 2020

With a Christmas craft night planned, I decided to use a generous portion of my pumpkin puree. So a pumpkin chocolate chip loaf for the festive gathering! Every year I forget just how delicious VCTOTW‘s recipe is…

While I was at it… and feeling fairly certain I’d see my students in real life again, I made the 11th Annual Classroom PumpkinΒ Chocolate Chip Cupcakes. After all, this was the classroom pumpkin I was still using. I froze them for when I return to the classroom, apparently in January.

The sweet spread laid out–the loaf drizzled with vanilla and chocolate glazes

Fuel for creativity

I may have under-baked it, but it was still delicious. Why don’t I ever remember to not bake a regular cake in an Angel Food pan?!

Hmm, I’m holding on to Autumn’s flavor. . .π
