Asheville Vegan Eats

Since I had a rental car, I decided I would brave downtown despite all the hullabaloo being made about Trump speaking in town. So I hit up Green Sage Cafe for an easy option.

It was good but the whole dish seemed a bit… sparse. There was bread to bread contact, which means the sandwich needed more stuff and the root hash, just a small pile.

It was tasty, however.

Right across the street, Old Europe Pastries… it had a few vegan options that looked killer

I went for the chocolate cupcake

It was yummy, but very crumbly… because “gluten free”… sometimes I really resent when gluten free is catered to. There is always a texture lack when things are vegan and gluten-free.

But I appreciate the option at an authentic European bakery. Thanks for the eats, Asheville.
