Arches National Park
Half the Park is After Dark
🌟 International Dark Sky Park #13

I re-entered Arches National Park when the sky grew dark and found it to be just as busy as it was in the daytime. Perhaps it seemed more so as every passing vehicle would impact my every shot.

I decided I’d go to the area called Wall Street for several reasons. For one it was a paved, wheelchair accessible trailβ€”which meant I could more easily maneuver it in the dark with my equipment. It’d also be easy to find my way back to the car. I have realized through this hobby of mine that I am easily spatially disorientated. And of course, it had some the park’s unique rock features.

To follow are some that the cars didn’t ruin all too much. There was this huge white light in the left of all my shots and I am not sure what it was, perhaps a campsite?

Onward I got to my second dark sky park this night–Canyonlands National Park, which is for more remote and less traveled.
