Abandoned in Remote Nevada, Part 1

The best abandoned places are the ones you find along the way, the ones you seize the opportunity to visit–in a split second from 70 mph to 0 to out of the car. Currant, Nevada is one such place: a motel, restaurant and bar sitting still waiting for me. Here is what I saw in its archive of time.

Simulated wood grain paneling…

Tumbleweed taking shelter

Love don’t live here anymore…

A juke box in the restaurant

Beverage tops all about

Gorgeous hearth and a exquisitely carved bar mantle

Looks like a breakroom for employees

We all scream for…

Lots of displays

And NBA Jam… how cool!

What would a trip be without finding relics and ruins?
