A Goodbye to Chinatown, Manhattan

The long goodbye to New York City starts now at my favorite Manhattan neighborhood: Chinatown. Why? Well, food and colors.

I picked up some sweet treats here at Bangkok Center Grocery. More on that later…

Picked up vegan mooncakes from Kozy Toast at Lily’s Vegan Pantry

They are sold frozen, which is a pain.

Thawed but dry. Still yummy though…

My favorite was the ube, but I guess because this one I nuked for 30 seconds.

Now my treat from Bangkok Center Grocerykow dom mat, my absolute favorite from Thailand. But these were roasted and not steamed. So the banana stayed yellow.
