A Bite in Boise, Idaho

It was a long airline trek to Boise, Idaho but we made it!Β  The first order of business was to grab the rental car and get a proper meal.Β  We went to the all-vegan High Note Cafe.

A fresh-squeezed mimosa toast to finally being together

My French Dip sandwich and his Brushcetta Grilled Cheese, both made with fresh made bread and house made cheese. Those are some very impressive notes right there. And they make a huge difference.

The French Dip: Marinated seitan, grilled onion, a delectable horseradish cream sauce on homemade bread, served with au jus. Seitan was beyond tender… no rubber in this wheat protein at all! A wonderful feat that demonstrates High Note Cafe‘s high quality.

And next, a walk. The city was such a delight, so much that we picked up real estate magazines to check out the prices of houses.

Re-POP Gifts was a fun store to check out, having all the subculture references represented.

What else you got for us, Boise?
