Passing through Pennsylvania’s capital city, I had to check out the new mural from another favorite, Stephen Powers. I’ve gone on about his cleverness before, yes. But this time maybe I’ll go on about the intent of community building. It’s such a worthy cause and he does it with a silly profundity that welcomes such a broad spectrum of appreciators.

And one of those appreciators demanded he take my picture and that I “work it”… and then held me in a fascinating conversation about his pursuits of creating an Operation-style game with the helpless patient as Donald Trump. Anyway, this was me trying to work it.

And because I was there in Harrisburg, I stayed for a quick vegan bite at The Vegetable Hunter, the all-vegan eatery doing things right on restaurant row.

I got their Pesto Grilled Cheese Sandwich with their housemade cheese, spinach pesto, and tomato grilled on whole grain bread. A delicious few bites for the road… and its three hours of driving. I’m burning daylight!
